Summer Happenings

Fun & Fall Classes Released!

Happening Around my Spinney:

This Summer has been full of sun, swimming, golfing, camping, road tripping, museums, and just staying home and playing outside with friends. It has been the sweetest time together and we have enjoyed the long days, the laughter and joy, and catching up with one another.
โ€‹

We started back in the new Warman Cozy with Stitch School and it has been great! We have space to connect, sew, and grow together. You have to come and see it yourself if you haven't gotten the chance!
The Ice House Mall now houses even more than before.
We have the favorite standards: Warman Cozy Quilt Shop, Chessie's, Sundial Brewery, Teia Candle Co, and some fun women's clothing and jewelry options.

Also joining the fun and open:

Angelina's (very fun gift shop)
The Pepper Pot (for all of your needlepoint and mahjong needs)
&
Bell House Books (a sweet independent bookstore)

So, as you can see, we are feeling the fun of a revitalized space and it such a pleasure to be a part of it with Warman Cozy!

Stitch School:
Fall 2026 Sessions

Three Session options for you this Fall:

Early Release Wednesdays,
3:30-5:30 pm

โ€‹Homeschool Fridays, 1:30-3:30 pm
โ€‹
โ€‹Stitch-filled Saturdays,
10:30 am -12:30 pm

Find all of the dates and make-up days available for these sessions below!

(Make-up dates are scheduled to make sure that your student has an opportunity to come in if they miss a class. Feel free to reach out with any specific scheduling questions as you look over your schedule for the Fall. I am always happy to help and let you know if there are any options.)

Introductory Class

The next two Introductory Classes for kids (8+) and teens are on Aug 13 & 14, 2026 from 10:30-12:30pm.

A great stand alone for someone who needs to get a little more familiar with their sewing machine or anyone who wants to join our continual sewing program, Stitch School.

These are scheduled right before our Fall sessions start so that new students can join in.

Please reach out if you are really eager to join, but these dates don't work for you!

Free Motion Quilting Summit!

I have the sweet pleasure of being a part of an online Free Motion Quilting Summit this August and I have been gearing up for it this summer.
โ€‹
It is put on by Mary Davis, of Mary Go Round Quilts, who I had the chance of meeting at H&H in Chicago in May. She is an inspiring teacher and so wonderful. I'm really looking forward to being just one of a great line-up of teachers highlighting all parts of Free Motion Quilting.
