Summer Classes!

Stitch School Classes coming!

We will have some Summer Break classes ready for sign up soon!

As you wait for the dates, you can gear up for those being scheduled for all of July and the beginning part of August.

Links will be sent out as soon as they are up.

The Intro Class is a pre-requisite for these classes, but well worth the time. Once your student attends our Intro Class, they are also eligible for Stitch School, our year long sewing program. You can find out about Stitch School here!

What happened Around the Spinney April & May:

I finished up classes at Warman Cozy at the end of March and been using my time wisely, but miss being there every week so much!
The month of April was spent finishing up school and boy did it go by fast! We had final projects and an end of the year ceremony. As part of the ceremony, we gave a small congratulatory speech for my son who is moving up from primary to secondary school and will be in 7th grade next year. It was a sweet moment and a chance for us to share our joys and hopes with him.

The end of April and beginning of May brought Fabric & Fiber Fest to Chicago. My mom and I attended a class together and then went up with my daughter another day to see the exhibit hall. You can see my finished creation from the class we took- I took some time this month to loosen up my free motion quilting skills again and it was so fun! Right after that I attended H & H for crafty business. It was a busy, but time well spent connecting with new and old friends in the quilting realm. I hope to share some excited things coming up this year from the connections I made there.

May 14, I went up to see the new classroom space at Warman Cozy and I can't wait for you to see it once it is finished! So many exciting things in store for the shop, Stitch School, and this year!
